The Student Services Department’s primary focus is to work closely with students in all aspects of development during the high school years. Four specific services include:
Educational Counselling
Up-to-date post-secondary information is available.
Academic Counselling
Counsellors monitor the progress of all students. It is necessary that courses selected meet the aptitudes, interests, abilities and future plans of each student.
Career Information
Resources are available to assist students in their exploration of career opportunities. Students are encouraged to attend career days and special presentations at each school.
Personal Counselling
Counsellors and a school social worker will assist students on a one-to-one basis with personal concerns.
